Chapter One

“Your not concentrating” Kyle whispers to the woman sitting besides him…trying not to break his concentration as well as the concentration of the others sitting around them.

“This is so stupid” Liz moans frustrated…falling backwards onto the floor behind her as she breaks her lotus position. “You know Kyle…I realize that I told you I needed help lowering my stress level…but this was not what I had in mind”

“Ssshhhhh”

“Liz…just concentrate…listen to the instructors words. Let them sooth you…let them take you to a different plain of existence”

“Ssshhhhh”

Pulling herself up from the floor…she returns to the lotus position. Crossing her legs…she clamps her fingers together…and attempts to listen to the words that the instructor speaks. Try as she might…she can’t help the whoosh of giggles from erupting from her lips at the monotone voice that fills her ears. All traces of concentration gone…she allows her giggles to consume her.

“Good Buddha Liz…what the hell is your problem” Kyle growls turning his full attention to the giggling teenager besides him. He knows that he should be angry for Liz’s behavior…but he finds that he can’t. She had been through hell in back in the last year…and try as he might…he couldn’t remember the last time he had seen her this carefree.

“Ssshhhhh”

“I’m sorry Kyle…its just that I don’t think that Yoga is the best way for me to relax” her giggles continue as she try’s to get up and slips on the slick floor of the gym…crashing into Kyle and knocking him backwards onto the floor also where he proceeds to smack his head onto the hard surface.

“Oh…you are so dead” he chuckles out loud…as he grabs Liz and flips her until he is pinning her to the floor flush with his body. “If my memory is correct…I think that you are quite ticklish…here…oh and here”

“Kyle…get off of me,” Liz shrieks loudly as Kyle begins to attack her most ticklish of areas. “Kyle…stop…please stop” her laughter echoes throughout the gym as he continues his onslaught.

“Ssshhhhh”

“Not until you agree to give Yoga another chance”

“No…never” she laughs…as she attempts half-heartily to extricate herself from under the bulk of his body.

“Then I must continue”

“Kyle…Please”

“Say it…say that you will give it another chance”

“Kyle…I…I just don’t think that Yoga is for me” she pants as she tries to catch her breath.

“I am afraid that I have to agree with that” they hear a voice reply…causing them to stop what it is they are doing.

“Debby” Kyle shouts startled…as the reality of what he is doing…and where he is doing it comes into view” “OMG…I am so sorry. It’s just that…Liz has…I mean…she is new…and um…I am so sorry”

“Look Kyle…you are a great student…and I enjoy having you in my class…but I just can’t tolerate this type of behavior. My other students are her for relaxation and enlightenment…and that is just not possible with the behavior that was displayed today”

“I understand” Kyle responds in understanding…as he removes himself from atop Liz…jerking her to a standing position before him. “Lets go”

Liz watches as Kyle trudges off…leaving her standing before the Yoga instructor. “I am so sorry” she whispers to the instructor…as she turns and attempts to catch up with Kyle as he disappears behind the gym doors.

“Kyle…wait. “I’m sorry” Liz yells to the retreating figure of Kyle…trying not to laugh at the scene that they had just caused…but finding that she is unsuccessful. “Kyle…come on now…it was only a stupid yoga class,” her giggles continue as she speeds up her pace trying to catch up with Kyle.

Infuriated…Kyle stops dead in his tracks. Taking a deep breath he turns to face Liz who has finally caught up with him. “To you it may have only been a stupid yoga class…but to me it is the only thing that has helped me get past all this crap that has entered my life since your lover boy saved my life that day. It may be stupid to you…but it is the only thing that has kept me sane since Tess’s betrayal and Alex’s murder. You have no idea how hard it was to try and get through that…do you”

“Kyle…I…I had no idea. I am…”

“Save it Liz…No you wouldn’t know anything about what I have been going through since you have been too busy with Maxie Boy and this whole quest of his to save his son. Go home Liz” Kyle states angrily…as he tries to control his spiraling rage. Turning from the now silent teen he exits the building…leaving a tearful Liz in his wake. Reaching his car…he jumps inside and speeds out of the parking lot…leaving the whole gym scene and Liz Parker in his dust.

His mind wanders aimlessly as he drives home. Guilt begins to consume him. What right did he have to get mad at Liz when she was also dealing with the aftermath of Tess and her bastard child…as well as the death of one of her best friends. The three of them…Liz…Maria and himself were all victims in this alien conspiracy that was Max…Michael and Isabel…and he was more then a little sick of the way that it was affecting the human aspect of this little group of misfits. The truth is that it wasn’t so much as they are aliens…but the fact that they…or he not once took into consideration the sacrifice that each and everyone of them has given for the great alien cause. Michael and Isabel have for the most part accepted their human fate and have taken the appropriate steps to ensure their happiness…except for one…the one that he despises more then he ever thought was possible to despise someone and he know that there is no amount of mediation or visiting of spiritual plains that will ever release the hatred that he feels for him.

He ignores the blaring horns of the cars as he cuts a sharp u-turn down the middle of main street and heads towards the CrashDown…intent on only one thing…working things out between him and Liz…and even Maria. He knows that with Michael and Maria now spit up…and Max and his search for the elusive child…that the two of them will need him more then ever…and in truth he knows that he will need them also.

Reaching the CrashDown he makes haste as he enters though the back door and races up the stairs to the apartment that she shares with her parents. Knocking loudly he waits impatiently for her to answer the door so he can confess his apologies for the awful words that he had uttered earlier. Impatience turns to out right need as he turns the knob of the door and lets himself in. “Liz…” he calls out as he makes his way around the different rooms of the apartment. He knows that Liz’s parents aren’t home…they are once again out of town at a convention of some sorts. “Liz…where are you. I need to talk to you. Liz…” Stopping dead in his tracks as he reaches he doorway of her room…he can only stare blindly at the scene before him.

Out right jealously courses throughout him as he continues to watch. He knows that he should leave…knows that he should give them the privacy that they think they already have…but he finds that he is transfixed. There standing before him is Max and Liz wrapped tightly in each other’s arms atop the comforter of her bed. Lips exploring…hands grouping…and moans of pleasure all rolled into one. His jealously intensifies…but not only because Max Evan’s is with the first love of his life…since he has for the most part accepted Liz was now and forever going to be with Max alone…but because he longs to find a love like they have. There has never really been anyone since Liz broke his heart all those years ago. There was an attraction to Tess for a short time…but it disappeared just as quickly as it appeared…and till this day he still doesn’t know if her mind warping him had anything to do with it or not.

He longs to find love. Hell…he longs for any semblance of a relationship. He is tired of being alone…tired of spending date nights either locked in his room or with the alien conspiracy. Jealousy turns to anger as once again he curses Max Evan’s for turning his life into the shambles that it is now. He had stolen Liz right from under his nose…saved his life…and dragged him kicking and screaming into the whole I know an alien club…and what did he have to show for it. Nothing…nothing but lies…deceit and pain for him and his human counterparts. He knows that he should try and move past the anger and accept his new fate…but his heart and mind wage a daily battle with that one. Turning away from the lovers he heads back towards the front door…but not before glancing back one last time at the two lovers and their major make serious out session.

Chapter Two

“Liz…What’s wrong” Max asks concerned as Liz breaks the lip lock that they held on each other. Pulling out of his embrace he watches as she moves to the edge of the bed…placing her head in her hands. “What is it” he ask concern still clearly evident in his voice as he moves to where she now sits trying to pull her back into his embrace.

“Max…please don’t” Liz whispers agitated as he removes herself fully from the bed and walks over to stand next to the window. “I just keep thinking about what Kyle said to me today. I mean…is he right…have I been so wrapped up in my own emotions about this whole Tess killed Alex situation…not to have noticed that he was hurting just as much as I was. I can’t even begin to comprehend what he has been going through. I mean…good lord Max…she mind warped him into carrying his dead body. This is something that he must have to deal with everyday of his life…and I never noticed or truthfully even cared. I was too wrapped up in my own self-pity…and now with trying to find your son. Am I a terrible person Max…” she asks turning to her boyfriend for some reassurance and instead of receiving what it is that she needs most…she finds him staring off into space…completely oblivious to anything that she has just said. “I am so sorry that I am boring you Max” she snides nastily…smacking Max in the back of the head. “I mean god forbid that I actually talk about something that pertains to me for once.

“Dammit Liz” Max yelps startled as her backhand snaps him back into reality. “Look…this is Kyle we are talking about. He will get over whatever little problems he is having and then he will be perfectly fine. We have more important things to worry about then what the hell is wrong with Kyle Valenti…let him do some chanting or whatever Buddhist do when they have issues…that way we can focus on the important thing…getting my son back”

Liz can only stand dumbfounded before the man that she once knew better then she knew herself. She cannot believe that this is the same Max Evan’s that she once loved with all her heart and soul…the one that she would have given up everything…her life…her love and her sanity for. It was if he were a completely different person…a person that Liz didn’t know anymore…and one that she no longer loves with an all-consuming passion. She wanted to blame Max’s transformation onto the only person that she hated more then anyone or anything in the universe…but the truth was that Max had begun transforming into the person he that he is now well before Tess and he…consummated.

“Get out” she yells…pointing at the door for emphasis.

“What” Max states flabbergasted. “What…Liz…what did I say”

“What did you say…OMG Max what didn’t you say. How can you say that Kyle will just get over his “Issues” You’re the reason that he has these “Issues” Max…you and all the @#%$ that you have put him through. Kyle has been there for you…for all of us each and every time that we have needed him…and have you ever heard him ask for anything in return. All he wanted was someone to understand what it was that he was going through…and none of us…especially me even realized it. He is hurting Max…don’t you see. Hurting because you made him part of some bizarre lifestyle that he never wanted to be part of…and yet he has been there for us without fail. Have you even tried to talk to him…get to know him. He’s been part of this group that you lead…and you know no more about him now then you did before this all happened. So…I ask again…how can you say that about Kyle”

Max can only continue to stare dumbfounded as Liz…the girl of his dreams…the love of his life as she stands before him defending the man that he stole from more then two years ago. First he considers the words that Liz has spoken. It was true that Kyle had proved invaluable to their odd lot of friends…and yes it was true that he never asked for membership into their little club…but if he hadn’t Kyle Valenti would be dead now. He tries to control the anger that is beginning to surge within him…but finds that he isn’t able too. He was tired of being blamed for @#%$ that he was powerless to stop…and worst of all…he was tired of Liz defending a man that he really didn’t care wither he had lived or died that fateful day. “Answer me Max” he hears her repeat once again…sending his anger spiraling out of control.

“What do you want me to say Liz…huh” You say that he never wanted to be part of our little group…well what the hell was I supposed to do that day…was I supposed to let him die. Is that what you want to hear. I did what was expected of me. I saved his life…I risked exposing Michael…Isabel and myself because of you and Jim…and this is the thanks that I get for doing that. I get you standing on a soap box telling me how I should treat a man that I hate more then I ever thought was possible to hate anyone”

“What do you mean that you did it for Jim and I” she questions horrified at the possible answer she may receive. “Are you telling me that you would have let him die that day if not for our asking you to save him” Silence fills the air as Max now paces the floor of her small bedroom irritation clearly etched upon his face. “Answer me dammit…. if not for Jim and I begging you to save his life…you would have allowed him to… die”

“Look…I don’t know how your argument with Kyle brought us to this…but I suggest that we just drop it and move on with our lives”

Repulsion fills her as she continues to watch him pace before her. She can’t believe that this man that she thought she loved more then life itself was capable of such hatred. She didn’t even know who he was anymore…and the fact of the matter was she was tired of Max…tired of everything that was associated with Max and his alien counterparts. Repulsion turns to out right fury as the realization that this was the end of the road for what was once the love of Max Evan’s and Liz Parker. “It came to this Max Evan’s…as it always does because somehow all of our lives seem to always revolve around you…Michael and Isabel. You don’t even have to answer the question for I can answer it for you. You would have left him there to die…would have watched the life drain out of his body…and all because of your hatred of him. Am I right Max…”she screams pounding her small fists into his chest. “You would have let him die…because you don’t care about anyone but yourself…not even me”

Turning from him before he can take hold her…she grabs his hastily discarded jacket off her computer chair and throws it at him. “Get out…get out and don’t you ever come back. You don’t love me…and you know what Max…I don’t think that I love you anymore either. The love that we once felt for each other died that night that you slept with Tess and got her pregnant. I hate you…and I want you out of my life…our lives. Leave us all alone…we don’t deserve the hell that knowing you all has put us through. I don’t even know you anymore. Your colder…more distant…and I think that the only reason that you can back to me after Tess left was because you were afraid to be alone. I loved you Max…and I thought that once she was out of our lives…the old Max would emerge and we could have gotten back to some semblance of what we once had…but now I see that isn’t possible…because that Max no longer exists”

“Liz…no…your wrong. I love you…and it’s me. Don’t do this…don’t end us over this rift you had with Kyle. You love me…I know that you do. Just…just give me another chance,” he stresses throwing the jacket onto the floor as he attempts to pull her back into his embrace.

“NO MAX” she wails tearfully…grabbing his jacket once again and shoving it against his chest. ‘The old Max would have never even considered letting a innocent human die…but you know what Max…that isn’t even the point. The point is that you don’t love me anymore. You haven’t for some time now and I was to blinded by my love for you to notice it. Since you’ve been with Tess…your different…colder…less caring…and not just towards me…towards everyone that you come into contact with. Just admit it Max…you don’t love me anymore…just admit it so I can move on with my life. Please…I just can’t take anymore of this…just go…please go and don’t come back”

Before she knows it she finds herself wrapped in his arms…as he clings to her desperately as if for dear life. “Your wrong” she hears him cry into her hair and he pulls her tighter against his body. “I love you…and you love me. We belong together…forever…it’s always been that way. Don’t do this to us Liz…I need you”

“I know” she whispers heartbroken as yet again she pushes herself away from the man that she thought she was going to spend the rest of her life with. “And that is why I have to end this. I have no more to give you Max. I have given you my all from that day you saved my life…and yet you always want more of me then I can give. I want too Max…I want normal…I need normal. I need to be away from all of this…but most of all I need to be away from you. Just go…please don’t make this harder then it already is. I am begging you…please just walk away”

Tears flood both of their eyes as Max reluctantly releases the hold that he has on Liz. “Liz…I am begging you not to do this to me…to us. I don’t know where this is all coming from…but just don’t do this”

“Good bye Max” she whispers through her tears as with one final push she shoves him out of her room…slamming the door behind her. “Good Bye”

“YOU DID WHAT” Maria screeches astonished at the news her best friend has dropped on her.

“I Broke up with Max last night” Liz answers honestly as she bustles around the kitchen of the CrashDown throwing needed items into a picnic basket.

“You broke up with Max…your soul mate…love of your life Max. Why…how…and why am I just finding out about this now”

“Maria look…I just needed some time to be alone and think things through. It was just time for what we had to end. I have been struggling like hell to put back together what we once had…and I thought that was what I wanted…but then last night it all became crystal clear to me. I’m seventeen years old…and being with Max is all time consuming. I want some normalcy in my life…and being with Max is far from normal”

“Are you ok…because you sure seem to be handling this break up pretty well”

“I am…I feel great. I feel free. I haven’t felt this good in years. You know what I am talking about…didn’t you feel like this after you broke up with Michael. I just felt like if I stayed with Max…I would always live in the shadows of one other person”

“Tess” Maria chimes in…as she chases around the scurrying Liz.

“No…Max”

“Huh” she asks confused.

“Think about it Maria. Max will always be this king of another planet…and right now there is nothing more important to him then finding his son. He doesn’t have time for me anymore…and I am fine with that. I have been there time and time again for Max. Together or apart…I have never once not been there for him whenever he has needed me. I love Max…and I think that I always will…but I need to be free from him. I need to think about someone else other then Max Evan’s…I need to think about me for once”

“Whoa…you have thought a lot about this haven’t you”

“Yes I have…”

“So where are you going all in a hurry and what is with the picnic basket. Don’t tell me that you have a hot date already”

“Nope…no hot date. Just hoping making amends with a friend that I lost a long time ago”

“Who”

“Kyle…”

“Kyle” Maria repeats shocks evident in her green eyes. “Why the hell are you trying to make amends with Kyle…when you have to be making amends with Max. Chica…you are so not making any sense these days. Forget Kyle and get you ass over to Michaels place and make Max see that you were wrong and that you want him back”

“You know that I can’t do that,” Liz says to her friend as she leaves a stunned Maria standing in the kitchen. She didn’t understand Maria’s reluctance to accept her break up with Max…even after she had basically split for the most part with Michael for the same reason.

“Liz…wait” Maria bellows to the retreating figure of her friend. “Ok…your telling me that you broke it off with Max…and now you are high tailing it over to Kyle’s at eight thirty in the morning with picnic basket in tow. Is there something that you haven’t told me. Did you…” she stutters as she forces Liz to turn and face her. “Did you…break up with Max to be with Kyle”

“No Maria…I broke up with Max to spend more time with me. There was a time when the three of us were the best of friend…before Max saved me. Do you remember Maria…we used to hang out and have fun. I miss those days…and Kyle he needs me…needs us…and I was hoping that after your shift that we could all get together and do something…just the three of us”

“Liz…listen to yourself. This is Kyle Valenti your talking about…he will get over whatever issues he is dealing with…just like the rest of us have. You have more important…”

“Have you been talking to Max” Liz questions angrily as Max had uttered those same words the previous night. “You have…you have been talking to Max about this. And just what else have you and Max been talking about” she future questions her supposed best friend as look of guilt descends over her face. “You know what…forget it…I don’t want to know. I guess that I already know who’s side it is that your on” Grabbing the picnic basket at her feet…Liz turns from her stool pigeon of a friend and walks pissed off out the door.

Chapter Three

“Liz…what are you doing here” Kyle questions sleepily as he opens the front door to find a nervous Liz standing on his front porch. Glancing at the clock on the wall besides the front door…panic begins to fill him at the reality of the time hits him. It was early…on a Saturday and Liz Parker was standing on his porch with an apprehensive look covering her face. It only meant one thing…something was wrong and he would be willing to bet a million dollars that it was alien related. “It’s like nine o’clock in the morning. Is everything ok…did something happen” he asks dreading the possible response as he ushers Liz into the main foyer of his house. “Are you ok…”

“I…I…I didn’t know what it was that Buddhist ate for breakfast…so I brought what I remembered you liked” she states worriedly as she holds the picnic basket she had brought with her out towards a puzzled looking Kyle.

“So…there isn’t any alien invasion…no alien emergency. You just want to have breakfast…with me”

“Kyle…I feel just awful about yesterday and I was thinking that we could have breakfast and then…only if you want…we can do some yoga” she giggles hopefully as she continues to stand before him. “I was hoping that you and I could get reacquainted…you know like we used to be. I miss hanging out with you Kyle…we were once really good friends”

“We were once more then just good friends as I recall” he states wiggling his eyebrows as he attempts to be serious and fails miserably.

“Yes…but before that we were friends…and I want to go back to the way that things used to be before all this alien @#%$” she curses…also trying to be serious…but as usual when Kyle is around she finds it almost impossible. “And besides…you and I both know that we were better of as friends then as boyfriend/girlfriend”

“Ok Liz Parker…before we renew our friendship…I must know what is in the basket…for its contents will determine the fate of this friendship between the two of us”

“Oh my…the pressure” she giggles…as she pushes past Kyle and begins to empty the contents of the basket out onto the dinning room table. “Well…as I stated before I don’t really know what it is that Buddhist eat for breakfast…but as I seem to recall the Kyle Valenti that I knew before had a passion for only one thing…”

“Oh Liz…is it…could it be what I think it is” Kyle giggles like a impatient child as he waits for Liz’s answer.

“Homemade apple fritter” she beams as she pulls the still warm fritters from the basket and places them on the table before a wide-eyed and fully drooling Kyle.

“OMG…they are…they are what I thought they were” he mumbles between mouthfuls of the delicious pastry. “I can’t believe you did this. I haven’t had these since…well since we were dating”

“I stayed up most of the night making these especially for you” she grins happily as he continues to stuff his face with her wares. “I really am sorry about yesterday…and for being so selfish that I never realized that you were hurting also”

Forgetting momentarily about his fritters he pulls a now tearful Liz into his embrace. “Hey…I was wrong to say those things to you yesterday. You’re the least selfish person I have ever met. You have given up everything for Max Evan’s and his merry band of aliens and always at the expense of your happiness. But…I intend to change all of that. So congratulations Elizabeth Parker…you are now an exclusive member of the Kyle Valenti friendship club” His laughter rings easily through out the house as he continues to hold the women that he once thought was going to be the love of his life. With a huge smile covering his face…he places a kiss upon her wet cheek. “As long as you continue to bare gifts of delicious homemade apple fritters that is”

“Deal” Liz giggles relieved as pulls away from Kyle and reaches into the basket to pull put yet another plate of apple fritters. “I came prepared…and may I say that I am extremely honored to be a member of this very exclusive club”

“You are late” Kyle scolds Liz as she rushes into the living room where he has been meditating for that last twenty minutes.

“I know…I know…but I had a hell of a time getting out of bed this morning. I mean…who knew that Yoga would hurt so much. I have muscles screaming out in agony that I wasn’t even aware that I had.
“Soooo” ” she giggles as she rubs her hand over the sore muscles of her shoulder. “I was thinking that maybe today we could give my poor battered body a break and do something else”

Kyle can’t help but laugh at the look of pure hope that is radiating from her face…but a deal was a deal and he was going to stick by it. “I am so sorry my dear…but a deal is a deal…so come on get your screaming muscles over here and lets get this over with” he chuckles as he grabs her hands and pulls her next to him. “The sooner we do this…the sooner you can do something else”

Wanting to protest…but knowing that it would fall on deaf ears…she allows him to pull her towards him. This had been their morning ritual for the last two weeks…and as much as she dislikes yoga and everything associated with it…she loves spending this alone time with Kyle. It is a time where they were free to discuss what ever is on their mind…free of Max and the whole alien connection. She knows more about Kyle in the short few weeks they have been together then she had ever known about him when they were dating and even before…and he her as well. He was quickly becoming her best friend…sadly replacing Maria as since her break up with Max…Maria seemed to never have time for her anymore.

“Concentrate” she hears him murmur in her ear as he stands behind her…pulling her from her thoughts “I have a new position for you to work on today”

“Oh great…another torturous position. OK master…lead the way” she giggles as she awaits his newest level of torture about to be inflicted on her already aching muscles. “I am mere putty in your hands”

“Maybe this isn’t the best position to work on today” he grins evilly as he places one hand fully across her bare abdomen and the other upon her equally bare back. “This is called the “Downward Dog…it works on building strength…flexibility and awareness. Now…bend over…keeping your knees as straight as possible and stretch out as far as is comfortable for you.

Grunts of protest can be heard from her as she follows Kyle’s directions…noticing that Kyle not once has removed his hands from her body. “You know…I think that you are enjoying this way to much” she grumbles as her already sensitive body screams out from the hellish position it now finds itself in.

“Well…I am the master” he teases throwing Liz’s own title for him back at her. “ And I think that I could get used to you in this position”

“I think you need to get laid” she giggles…attempting to turn her head so she can look at Kyle’s reaction to her words. Her balance off center…she crashes to the floor bringing an unprepared Kyle to the floor with her as well. A rush of laughter explodes over her at the look of pure shock that covers his face.

“You know…you are probably right…but this is neither the time nor the place for talk such as this” he chuckles trying to regain his composer at the words that Liz had just spoken.

“Well you know…if you play your cars right…I could alleviate this little problem of yours” she declares…a glint of mischief apparent in her brown eyes. Climbing atop Kyle’s heaving body…she straddles his waist allowing her hair to fall seductively over his face and shoulders as she hovers mere inches away from his lips.

“You…you can” he stammers as his heart beats furiously within his chest.

“NO” she giggles in response as she places a chaste kiss on his lips and attempts to flee from Kyle before he can retaliate. Sore muscles prove to be a hindrance as he speedily grabs her by the waist and reverses the stance she had held on him.

Laughter can be heard throughout the house as the two teens continue their game of dominance. Jim can only shake his head as he passes by the living room…not understanding the friendship that has developed between the Parker girl and his son. Every morning as he got ready for work he would find them in this same position. It was a morning ritual that he would never understand…and yet it seemed to work for the kids. Since they had begun what ever it was that they were doing…Yoga Kyle called it…he called it foreplay…but what ever it was it was obvious that it agreed with both teens as the looks of impending doom no longer covered either of their young faces.

“Morning Mr. Valenti” Liz screeches as Kyle once again attacks her side with his rapidly moving hands.

“Morning Pop” Kyle chimes in as Liz yet again reverses the hold that he held on her…pinning his arms over his head with one hand as she runs her hand up and down the underside of his arm…as his screams of laughter echo with her own.

“Morning you two” he responds…shaking his head yet again as he grabs his keys from the coffee table and heads for the front door. “You think that I can leave here without one of you killing each other” he chuckles…opening the door and stepping out into the brightness of the new day.

“Bye Mr. Valenti” Liz shrieks breathlessly.

“Bye Pop”

“Truce…” Liz begs trying to catch her failing breath…as she pushes an equally breathless Kyle off of her over heated body.

“I am triumphant yet again” he screams joyfully…throwing his hands victoriously up in the air as he allows Liz to snuggle against his heaving chest.

“You cheated” Liz whines…slapping Kyle playfully on his chiseled chest.

“Cheated…are you crazy. I won that match fair and square…and besides can I help it if you are a little girlie man” he quips in his best Hans and Franz impression from a Saturday Night Live skit he had seen earlier that week.

“I’ll give you a little girlie man” Liz screams giddily as she once again lunges for Kyle…pinning him snugly under the bulk of her body.

“Your right…your right…you win” he chuckles easily running his fingers through her sweaty hair as she lays her head upon his chest. They lay in comfortable silence as they both attempt to once again catch their breath. “You know…” Kyle states…breaking the silence. “I don’t think that my father understands what it is that we have between us”

“I can’t say that I blame him” Liz responds sleepily as she snuggles deeper into his chest. “I don’t know what it is that we have between us either…but I wouldn’t change it for the world”

“Me either” he states earnestly. “Me either”

“Ok…what about this one” Kyle asks hopefully as he holds a copy of Hell Raiser the movie before Liz.

“Ick…no way Kyle” she answers grabbing the movie from his hands and placing it back on the shelf behind him. “You made me watch that disgusting movie last week…tonight it is my turn to pick the movie and I choose this one…”

“What…are you kidding me…that is a chick movie” he moans as he grabs the copy of Titanic from her hands and tosses it on the shelf besides his copy of Hell Raiser. “And besides that movie is like five hours long and you never mange to stay awake to see the end. Come on Liz…be a sport Hell Raiser is a classic piece of cinematic horror” he begs as he gives her his best puppy dog face for he knows that it works each and every time.

“No…Kyle no…stop that. Not the puppy dog eyes…you know that I can’t resist the puppy dog eyes” she giggles loudly as Kyle begins to nuzzle her neck with his nose while making puppy dog sounds.

“Pwease Liz…pwease”

“Ok…ok…we watch Hell Raiser…again. But…you have to promise me that next week we watch what I want to watch and no sad puppy dog eyes are going to change my mind”

“We will just see about that” Kyle chuckles as he grabs her hand and pulls her towards the front of the store so they can check out. “Come on lets get our goodies and get out of here”

“Liz…”

“Maria…” Liz whispers…dropping Kyle’s hand as she turns to face her elusive friend. “What…what are you doing here”

“Renting a movie…what are you doing here,” she asks curiously as she looks from Liz to Kyle…who is standing protectively behind her. “Kyle” Maria nods in acknowledgement before turning her focus back to Liz. “So…is there something that I should know about going on here”

“No…nothing” Liz replies much to quickly…causing Maria to lift her eyebrow in suspicion.

“Really…cause it looks like more that nothing to me and what about Max. What does Max think of this…this…”

“She said nothing,” Kyle states determinedly…coming to Liz’s aide. “All were doing is renting some movies…no great mystery there. In fact if you’re so worried about Liz…then where the hell have you been for the last four weeks. Don’t you think that if you were so worried about your best friend that you would have at least spent some time with her. I swear to Buddha…”

“Come on Kyle” Liz whispers…cutting him off in mid-sentence. “I don’t have to explain anything to anyone…including her” Taking his hand once again within her own…as she drags Kyle away from a stunned Maria.

Liz says not a word as Kyle pays for the movie and goodies for their impending movie night. He watches her worriedly as they make their way to his car…stopping her before reaching it. “You ok…”he asks concerned.

“Yeah…I’m fine,” she replies unconvincingly as she attempts to open the car door.

“Liz…you don’t have to lie to me. I know that you’re upset about Maria. She’s your best friend and I know how much it hurts you that you and her have become estranged”

“I know Kyle…your right…it does hurt a bit. But…your wrong about one thing”

“What’s that” he asks confused.

“Maria’s not my best friend…you are”

Tears glisten in his eyes as her words ring in his ears. It was true in the last month they had become the best of friends…in his heart he knew that Liz considered him a great friend…but to actually hear it sends his heart soaring. “I feel the same way Liz…and I will always be here for you…always”

“OMG…that is so gross” Liz squeals into the neck of Kyle as he attempts to hide from the gore that is oozing out from the TV. “How did I let you talk me into watching this again”

“Puppy dog eyes win every time” he chuckles as he places his arm protectively around his best friend. His laughter turns to one of seriousness as the words that Maria had uttered earlier come back to haunt him. Turning off the TV he turns to her. “Liz…” he says cautiously as he tries to ask what it is he wants to ask without upsetting her once again.

“Yeah”

“Can I ask you something”

“Sure Kyle…you know that you can ask me anything. What…what is it” Concern covers her face as she looks into his eyes. “Kyle…just ask me…you know that I keep no secrets from you”

“It’s just something that Maria said tonight…about Max”

“What about Max” she asks nervously as she pulls herself away from Kyle and begins to clean up the scattered popcorn off the floor from their earlier food fight.

“What does Max think about you and I spending all this time together. I mean…he is your boyfriend and yet you’re spending every Friday and most Saturday nights with me…and lets not forget that you’re at my door bright and early every morning for Yoga. It’s just that if you were my girlfriend there would be no way that I would let you spend this much time with another man and not be totally…completely and insanely jealous”

“Kyle…trust me Max is fine with me spending this much time with you” she lies…not understanding why she feels the need to keep her breakup with Max a secret. “And besides…I am a grown woman and I can hang out with who I want…when I want” she states adamantly as she pushes past Kyle…walking into the kitchen with the evenings mess.

“Liz wait…” Kyle yells after a Cleary agitated Liz. “It’s just that I want you to know that Max is welcome to hang out with us too if he wants. I mean I am the first to admit that I don’t care for the guy…but you are my friend and I know how important he is to you”

That sweet of you Kyle…really it is…but I would prefer to keep our time together as Max free as possible. I mean…” she stammers trying to recover her obvious blunder. “I would prefer to spend our time tougher just the two of us”

“Hey…that works for me” he grins…plucking a squealing Liz off of the floor and tossing her over his shoulder as he hauls her back into the living room. “And now for the conclusion of Hell Raiser”

“Kyle…” Liz whispers as she runs her fingers through his feather soft hair…his head lying upon her lap.

“Hmm” he mumbles as he fights the urge of slumber. It had been hours since the movie had ended and they were content to just relax in the presence of each other’s company.

“What about you…”

“What about me” he questions…looking into her concerned filled eyes.

“Don’t you think that you should be out trying to date half the female population of West Roswell High…instead of spending date nights with me. I mean…hanging out with me all the time doesn’t give your social life much of a boost”

“Nah…” he scoffs…snuggling deeper into her lap as he closes his eyes. “Anyways…I prefer spending time with you then with those whiney…use you till they get what they want women”

“Kyle…not all women are like Tess” she whispers as he runs her fingers gently down the cheek of his rugged face. Her heart breaks at the look of hurt and pain that has now adhered itself to his normally radiating face. “I’m sorry Kyle…I don’t want to open old wounds…but you have to move past what happened with Tess and get back into the swing of things”

“It’s not that easy” he replies hurtfully. “I trusted her…and I had feelings for her…strong ones…and then one day I woke and all I felt for her was a brotherly bond. I know what I was feeling before that Liz…and I don’t know if she was mind warping me or not. One minute I was falling in love with her…and then the next it felt like incest. I just don’t think that I am ready to start dating just yet. Check back in about ten years…I might be ready by then” he chuckles half heartily trying to lighten the mood.

“Kyle…you are not going to wait ten years before you begin to date again. You can start by taking baby steps. One date…and if that works out…then another and so on and so on. You can do this…and all we have to do is find the perfect starter date”

“Um…Liz…”

“I know…how about Anne Hernandez” Liz exclaims giddily as she jumps up from the couch…causing Kyle to collapse to the floor below. “In fact…I think that I have her phone number in my address book. I mean she is perfect…sweet…caring and a lot of fun to be with…perfect”

“Who the hell is Anne Hernandez” Kyle states becoming irate with Liz for not dropping the subject. His irritation growing as he continues to watch her leaf through her address book hell bent on finding this number.

“Anne…you know Anne. She sits three seats behind you in our humanities class”

“Liz…please”

Looking up from her address book she sees the heartache still so clearly etched upon his face. “Ok…I’ll tell you what. I will just leave her number here…and if you want to call her then that is great…but if you don’t that is ok too. Promise me that you will at least think about it”

“Ok…I will think about it…but I can’t make any promises”

“That is all I ask” she beams…throwing her arms around his neck and crushing him within her embrace.

Weeks have passed and Liz is thankful that Kyle has not pursued the Max issue any future. She had tried to tell him the truth a few times…only to chicken out at the last minute. She feels bad for keeping a secret this big from him…but her greatest fear is that once Kyle finds out the truth…things between him and her will become different. She values Kyle as her closest and dearest friend…and nothing…not even this secret that she hides is going to get in the way of preserving what they now share. He also hadn’t mention another word about taking that first step into the dating genre…and the truth of the matter was that for very selfish reasons she was glad for this reluctance. She enjoyed their times spent together…and despite how much she liked Anne…she did not want to share her time with Kyle with anyone.

Knocking on the door she waits impatiently for Kyle to answer it for another evening of movies…junk food and spending quality time together. “Kyle…open the door” she tells through the heavy wood…as she continues to pound loudly with her fists. “Kyle…come on…open the…” The swinging opening of the door startles her…but not as much as what she is seeing before her…causing her jaw to drop from the shock of it all. “Um…hey” she says tentatively…holding up the movies that she has rented from the video store. “Don’t you think that you’re a little over dressed for movie night. I brought your favorites…Hell Raiser…one…two and three”

“Didn’t you get my message” he replies…shocked to see Liz standing on his doorstep…and wishing desperately for some reason that she wasn’t. “I called to speak to you…but your mother said you had driven to Albuquerque for some supplies. So I asked her to tell you that I couldn’t make movie night tonight. I…I decided to take your advice and take that first step. I called Anne and asked her out…and she said yes”

“Well of course she said yes…no woman can turn down the charm of one Kyle Valenti” she replies automatically…as a sinking feeling begins to cultivate within her stomach. “I…I think it is great that you are doing this…and Anne is going to see what a great guy you are and…”

“Hey…don’t go all crazy on me now” he laughs uneasily. “Baby steps remember…don’t having us going all steady just yet”

“Right…well…”

“How do I look…do you think that I over dressed” he asks visibly nervous about his first date in almost a year.

“You look very handsome Mr. Valenti” she replies truthfully as she ogles him from head to toe…and as if for the first time notices just how good looking Kyle really is. “Is that a new Shirt” she asks…knowing it is for she knows Kyle’s wardrobe as well as she knows her own.

“Yes…” he blushes…causing his cuteness level to rise a bit more. “I brought it today and the jeans too. I wanted to make a good impression tonight”

“Well you certainly are going to do that” When the hell did he get this cute she thinks to herself as once again she takes in her very dapper best friend. The white oxford shirt was long sleeved and showed just enough of his muscled chest to cause her heart to catch in her throat…and the jeans…she didn’t even want to think about the jeans…but she finds that she can’t help but sneak another peek. The jeans were form fitting…with all the necessary bulges in the right places. Liz always thought…especially when they were dating that besides his great personality…Kyle had one hell of a gorgeous ass and these jeans really emphasis just that.

“Hey Kyle…” she hears a voice speak happily behind her. “Hey Liz…how are you”

“Hey Anne” she replies as she turns to face the woman that will be spending the evening with Kyle…the women that is breaking their weekly movie night tradition. “I was just dropping these movies off for Kyle to watch…and um…yeah…I better get going so you guys can begin your date. Have fun”

Kyle watches as Liz pushes a stray strand of hair behind her ear…a look crossing her face that he cannot decipher. “Liz wait…” he calls after her retreating figure…finding that he doesn’t want her to leave. “Why don’t you come with us” he declares louder then he expected as both women turn to face him…a look of shock covering both of their faces. “I mean…if it’s ok with Anne. We are going to my friend Malamutes party. You can come with us…and I…I am sure that you will find someone there you can hang with”

“Thanks for the offer…but I don’t really think you need a chaperone on your first date with Anne”

“Your not our chaperone. Its just a party…I am sure that you can find someone to hang out with once we are there” he repeats…secretly praying that he can convince her to change her mind. “Right Anne”

“Um...yeah…right” Anne replies…as she notices the way that Kyle and Liz are gazing at each other. “Sure Liz…come with us. It will be fun and I am sure that you are bound to find someone that you know there”

“I don’t…” she says more to herself then to the others. What the hell she thinks to herself. If Kyle can begin to date again…why can’t I. She was a pretty good looking chick…even if she said so herself…and maybe they were right…maybe she could find someone to hang out with…and maybe just maybe she could find something more. Ok…what the hell. I just need to run home and change”

“Change…change for what” Kyle laughs out loud...relieved that Liz has agreed to go with them. Grabbing Liz by the arm…he leads her towards the car…leaving a stunned Anne in his wake. “You look awesomely beautiful as you are…you don’t need to change one thing” Stopping before the car…he opens the door and attempts to help her in.

“Um…Kyle…you forgot something” Liz whispers in his ear…as a feeling of guilt begins to gnaw at her heart.

“What…” he asks clearly confused.

“Your date” she answers…turning his head in the direction of a still stunned date.

“OMG…Anne” he gushes…as he rushes to her side. “I am so sorry…please forgive me. I am not making a very good impression am I” he queries…as he gently places his hand on her forearm and leads her towards the car. “It’s just that I haven’t been on a date with a girl in what feels like forever…and I guess that I am a little rusty”

“It’s ok…just don’t let it happen again” she flirts openly…hoping that Liz is taking notice. The truth of the matter was…she had her eye on Kyle for quite some time. He was a really nice guy…with a lot of great qualities…and guys like him were few and far between in West Roswell High. She didn’t know exactly what it was that was going on between Kyle and Liz…but she wasn’t about to let that stop her in her quest for the perfect boyfriend.

Liz was watching…and for the life of her she cannot explain the emotions that are swirling crazily within her trembling body. Kyle was her friend…her best friend…so why was it that one of the emotions that she was feeling was complete and utter jealously.

Chapter 6

“Who the hell knew that Malamute knew this many people” Kyle chuckles as the threesome makes their way into the already thoroughly trashed house. “So ladies…would either one of you like something to drink before we begin to mingle”

“I would love something” Liz answers.

“Me too” Anne also responds.

“Great…be right back”

Both women watch as Kyle makes his way through the room…stopping along the way to laugh and chat with his many friends. Momentarily pulling her eyes from her date…Anne turns and faces Liz. “Liz can I ask you a question”

“Sure” she replies as she begins to sway to the music. “What’s up”

“Is there something going on between Kyle and you…because if there is I don’t understand what it is that I am doing here”

Liz hesitates…seriously considering telling Anne a huge lie…but deciding against it. It was obvious that Anne was interested in Kyle…and it was about time that Kyle moved on. The jealously within her screams for her to speak these words…and yet her conscience wins over as she utters the words that she wants to take back as soon as she utters them. “No…Kyle and I are just friends”

“Good…because I really like him” Anne giggles…grabbing Liz’s arm and shaking it as she does a little dance.

Another current of jealously bolts through her as she steps back breaking the hold that Anne has on her. Turning away from Anne…in search of Kyle…she finds herself face to face with a very drunkard Malamute.

“Hey Parker…” he drawls breathing his gasses breath into Liz’s face. “You are looking so hot tonight”

“Thanks…” she replies absentmindedly…as she looks past him and continues to search the crowd.

“Here you go ladies…ice cold coca cola” Kyle says walking up behind them.

“Cokes…you brought them cokes. Good lord man…there is beer all over this place. Why don’t you bring them real drinks”

“Malamute…nice to see you” Kyle quips…not liking the way that his eyes are roaming all over Liz’s body. “But maybe the ladies prefer cokes to beer”

“Whatever Valenti…” he drawls…never breaking the hold that he has on Liz. “So Parker…you wanna dance with a real man”

“I’d love to” she replies seductively as she turns…fully facing the drunken teen. “So if you excuse me…I need to hit the dance floor and find one”

Her laughter can be heard as he moves her way into the middle of the dance floor…disappearing within the throng of sweaty dancers swaying and jamming to the music. “Stupid bitch…I don’t need to take that @#%$ from that flat chested tease”

“Hey…you watch your mouth” Kyle screams…grabbing Malamute by the shirt and yanking him forward until their faces are mere inches from each other. “Don’t you ever talk about her like that again…you hear me…and if you do…you will have hell to pay”

“What ever dude” Malamute grunts as he pulls Kyle’s hand from his shirt and stumbles into the masses.

“Excuse me” Liz yells to the handsome man that she has been dancing with for the last hour. She has no clue who he is…and she could really care less…all that mattered was that after a few beers she was loose enough to forget about her strange feelings for Kyle and concentrate on more important things…having some fun. “I’ll be right back”

Walking towards the back of the house she searches for the nearest bathroom. Finding a long hallway she clumsily makes her way towards the first of several doors…praying desperately it was the room that she needed. Opening the first door…she finds a group of kids sitting around a small table loaded with what appeared to be white lines of powered substance. “Oh @#%$…sorry” she mumbles…quickly slamming the door. Continuing on her trek…she opens the second door only to find two teens having out right animalistic sex. She can hears their screams of pleasure emanating through the open door. She knows that she shouldn’t…but blind curiosity takes control as she as silently as possible cracks the door open a bit wider and peers inside.

“OMG…” she screams horrified…dropping the cup of warm beer she holds in her hand. Tears flow freely from her eyes as she continues to watch the scene before her. Neither of the lovers were aware of their revolted visitor…as the male of the two continues to pound into his female counterpart with an all fired passion.

“MAX…MAX” she hears her once best friend scream out in blind fervor as he explodes within her…falling atop her in exhaustion with her name falling from his lips as he does.

Running unsighted she slams into unseen bodies as she makes her way back down the hall way and once again onto the crowded dance floor. Standing dumbfounded…she doesn’t feel him walk up behind her…only feels his hand as it works its way up her bewildered body. “Oh baby…you look so hot tonight” he breathes heavily into her ear…pulling her tightly against his already harding manhood”
She allows him to continue to grope her…as images of her ex-boyfriend and her one time best friend having sex invade her already confused mind. “You look like you need something a little harder then beer” Nodding in response…she dones’ t put up a fight as he grabs her hand and roughly jerks her through the make shift dance floor and into the kitchen. “Here…try this…it is guaranteed to cure all your troubles” he leers as she feels his hand plant itself firmly on her ass.

“What…what is it” she stammers already feeling the affects of the three beers she had drunken earlier.

“Don’t worry about what it is…just know that in a few minutes you will feel better then you have every felt in your entire life”

“What the hell” she yells loudly over the din of the rowdy part goers…downing the entire cup in two swift gulps.

“Where could she be” Kyle questions out loud for the tenth time in an hour…as he dances half heartily with his date.

“I don’t know” she responds for what to her seems like the hundredth time this evening.

“Do you think that she is ok…I mean we haven’t seen her in over an hour…maybe something is wrong”

“You know what I think Kyle…I think that this isn’t going to work out. It is so obvious that the two of you feel something for each other…but for some strange reason are unwilling to admit it”

“Anne…no…it’s just that I am…”

“Kyle…look you are a great guy…and Liz is a great girl…and you may not see it…but anyone that witnesses the two of you together can. If you like her…then tell her…because it is evident that she feels the same way about you”

“That’s not possible” he responds adamantly. “She is involved with Max Evans…they have like this whole soul mates till the end of time thing going on between the two them”

“Kyle…Liz broke up with Max over two months ago”

“What” he asks astonished…because he knows that it can’t be true since Liz had not once ever mentioned this to him the whole time that they had been hanging out. “You have to be mistaken. Liz and Max are still very much together”

“No Kyle…Liz broke up with Max over two months ago. I heard it from her own mouth. So…she is free and it is so obvious that she has feelings for you…and you for her. Night Kyle” she whispers sadly as she turns and walks slowly into the crowded masses…leaving him completely stunned.

“Night Anne” he replies confused …as he watches her disappear into the same crowd that Liz had vanished into earlier. Turning from the retreating figure of what was his date…he begins his desperate search to find Liz…Anne’s words echoing throughout his completely befuddled mind.

Ten minutes later and still not able to find Liz…Kyle goes into full panic mode. All sorts of horrific images assault his mind as he quickens his search…asking everyone and anyone he sees if they have seen the girl that is causing such confusing emotions to flow through him.

“Liz Parker…yeah I’ve seen her” a clearly drunken teen slurs…pointing towards the back of the house. “Last…last…I seen her…she was with Malamute and they was going that way”

“OMG” Liz yelps in pain as she quickly closes her eyes against the blaring rays of the morning sun. Slowly squinting through half open eyes she surveys what she can of the room around her. She knows that this is not her room…knows that it is the room of Kyle’s…but what she doesn’t know is how in the world she got there. “Kyle” she croaks as a bolt of pain zooms through her head. “Kyle…where are you”

“Great…your up” she hears his voice boom through her overly sensitive ears. “Lets get you dressed and back home before your parents send a lynch mob out for me”

“What…what happened”

“A little too much of Mr. Alcohol last night” he says…making a lame attempt at a joke. “Don’t you remember anything about last night” he asks hopefully as he sits on the bed besides her…taking her hand into his own.

“No…nothing…it is all one big blur” she responds honestly…confusing filling her as she feels Kyle stiffen besides her…dropping her hand as he jumps off the bed as if her touch has burned him.

“It’s probably for the best” he states awkwardly…as he makes his way for the door. “I washed your clothes…you can change and then I will take you home”

Before she has a chance to respond…he is gone leaving her alone with a muddled mess of confusion as to what it was that had exactly happened last night. Try as she might she can recall nothing after they arrived at the party. Her last clear memory is of Kyle’s friend Malamute leering at her as he asked her to dance…and then it was all a huge blur. Begrudgedly she rolls her aching body off of bed and stares at her freshly laundered clothes. Forcing away the ideas as to why they had to be laundered in the first place…she grabs them and dresses as quickly as possible in her hung over state.

Slowly she makes her way down the hallway…entering the living room where she finds Kyle in the lotus position chanting. ”Starting without me” she giggles…regretting it as soon as it exits her lips.

“Um…yeah…well you have to be in a clear frame of mind for Yoga…and after last night I doubt you are in a clear frame of mind” he snides…as he removes himself from the floor and pushes his way past a clearly hurt Liz. “Come on lets go”

She watches as Kyle walks out the front door leaving her standing there…hurt and confused. Sadly she walks out the door and into the waiting car. They drive in uncomfortable silence as Kyle weaves in and out of traffic…making it painfully obvious that he was in a rush to deposit her home…and quickly. “Kyle…did I do something…or say something last night that has made you angry with me” she asks as they sit in the same uncomfortable silence now parked in front of the Crash Down.

“We both said a lot of stupid things last night” he replies briskly…avoiding looking into her eyes for he knows if he does he will melt like the marshmallow he is whenever it comes to her. “It is better to just forget about last night anyway. You were drunk…and I was…well you were just drunk” he babbles…reaching across her lap and opening the passenger door for her. “I have to go…so I’ll see you later”

“Yeah…see you later” she repeats hurtfully…as she opens the car door furtherer and steps out into the glare of the sun. Taking a step away from the door so she can close it…she changes her mind and no matter how painful it is…leans into the car to give Kyle a kiss on the cheek. It was something they did each and every time they greeted each other…as well as when they left each other. This time was however different…as Kyle rebuffs her kiss of friendship by jerking his head away…leaving her to kiss the swish of air that his jerking has caused. Tears glisten in her eyes as she pulls herself dejected back into the painful sunlight and closes the car door. She can only stand in utter shock…tears rolling down her face as Kyle speeds off leaving her devastated in his wake.

Crestfallen…she makes her way from the curb and enters the Crash Down…only to be assaulted upon her entrance. “Where the hell have you been” he screams at her…grabbing her by the arms and shaking her…as excruciating pain rips throughout her entire body. “I said where the hell have you been. I have been waiting for you all night”

“Max…Jesus Christ…let her go” she hears a familiar female voice scream behind her. Thankfully he releases his grip…as she turns to face the two people she dreads talking to most in the world.

“I can’t talk to you two right now” Liz whispers…holding her pounding head in her hand as she walks away from Max and Maria…in dire need of some aspirin and a shower.

“Yeah…well I bet you had time for Kyle last night…didn’t you” Max states accusingly to the retreating figure of Liz. Turning she looks to Maria whom now has the look of guilt written all over her face. “Is that it Liz…did you break up with me so you could @#%$ Kyle Valenti”

“I am so not discussing this with you” she screams angrily ignoring the pounding drum inside her head. “You and I are not together anymore…and if and when I choose to sleep with anyone…even Kyle I will still not be discussing this with you”

“It is my business” he screams grabbing her once again by the shoulders as he pulls her furiously before him. “You will always be my business. I love you…and I don’t know what this game is that your playing…but you will always be mine and mine alone. Do you honestly think that I will let what ever this thing between you and Kyle is go any future. It’s over Liz…you are mine…and you will no longer see Kyle…and that is final” his shouts continue…as if to prove his point he pulls her roughly against his body and kisses her heatedly. Her head feels like it is going to explode as his tongue forces its way into her resisting mouth. Images that make no sense…and yet they make all the sense in the world begin to rain upon her. Images of Liz catching Max and Maria doing the deed…their words of lust echoing through her ears along with the beating of her maddened heart.

“You son of a bitch” she screams wildly…as she hauls off and punches Max squarely in the mouth…knocking one of his front teeth loose. “If you ever touch me like that again…I will kill you with my bare hands. You love me so much…and yet it was Maria and not I that you were @#%$ like crazy last night. I hate you both…get the hell out of my restaurant. Maria…my dearest ex best friend…you are so fired. Get you @#%$ out of your locker and don’t you ever come back here again. Max…the one great love of my life…NOT. Consider your banishment reinstated. If I ever see you and your partner in crime around here again…you will be arrested without question for trespassing. Now get the @#%$ out…NOW"

“I’m sorry Liz but he isn’t here” Jim speaks into the phone…his heart breaking at the sound of Liz crying on the other end of the line.

“Please Mr. Valenti…I need to talk to him” she begs once again…tears of pain sliding yet again down her face. “I just need to talk to him for a second”

“I’m sorry honey…” he replies again…before hanging the phone up. “You want to tell me why I just broke that young girls heart” Jim asks his son as he turns and finds the same look of devastation upon Kyle’s face that he knows Liz Parker has written all over hers as well.
“It’s complicated” is Kyle’s reply as he pulls himself off of the couch he was sitting on and attempts to exit the room.

“If it wasn’t complicated…it wouldn’t be love” his father responds gently as he lays his hand upon Kyle’s shoulder hindering his exit.

“Where not in love…were…were just… Hell…I don’t know what the hell we are anymore. Yesterday afternoon it was all so simple…and then in a matter of hours it has all turned into one big ugly mess. I don’t know what to think…or what to do”

“Being young sucks big…trust me I know. Believe it or not I was young once” Jim chuckles as he leads his son back into the living room…pointing at the seat he has just vacated. “This thing you have with Liz…its more then just simple friendship. You both mean the world to each other…you can see it in the way that both of your faces light up whenever either one of you enters a room. It’s evident in the way that despite being able to pick and choose whom ever you would want to date…you choose to always be together. Now don’t get me wrong…I am not an advocate for young love…I think that your mother and I proved that…but there is something special about the two of you. Whither it is love…or just one hell of a special friendship don’t screw this one up son…because if you do it will be one of the biggest mistake of your life”

“I just don’t know what to think” Kyle replies honestly…as he once again removes himself from the couch and heads towards the privacy of his bedroom where he hopes he can sort out his muddled thoughts. Half way down the hall…he turns and walks back into the living room where his father now sits in deep thought as well. “Thanks pop…for the advice I mean”

“Anytime Son…Anytime”

Hanging up the phone…Liz allows her tears to flow even harder as the reality of the situation hits her full on. Kyle is avoiding her…and yet she knows not why. Try as she might most of the previous night was still a huge blur. There were a few things that she could remember…walking in on Max and Maria…dancing with a good looking stranger…and then she met up with the one that they called Malamute…and then it was one big haze Once again she focus her total concentration on the events of last night hoping to recall anything…just one little snippet as to what she had done that was so terrible to have Kyle hating her the way he does now…and once again it proves futile. Almost six hours since he left her standing on the curb and she was still no closer to solving the great mystery. Thoroughly exhausted…she curls under the warmth of the comforter and prays that sleep ascends over her quickly for she was more then ready to end this dreadful day.

“Elizabeth Maria Parker…you get your self out of that bed right now” she hears her mother roar loudly as she bursts into her room ripping her from her non-peaceful sleep. “You have some explaining to do…and you better have one hell of a good answer”

Clutching her head painfully in her hands she struggles to remove herself from her bed…only to lay back down as a thunderbolt of pain crashes over her. “Mom…please” she whispers as yet another jolt hits her already screaming head. “Don’t scream”

“Don’t scream…don’t scream” she mutters to herself as she rips the covers off her daughter and yanks her into an upright position. “OMG…you smell like a brewery” her screams continue as the stench from Liz hits her head on. “This just gets better and better…first you fire my best waitress without speaking to me or your father…and then from the smell of you…you must have had one hell of a night partying with Kyle”

“I can’t talk about this right now” Liz whispers…trying not to gag from the odor that was emanating from her own self. After her confrontation with Max and Maria earlier this morning…she had intended to speak to Kyle and then take a shower. But after Kyle’s father had refused to let her speak to him…showering seemed less important as slipping into the shadows of slumber…in order to hide from the harsh reality of what was had happened the night before.

“Oh but you can talk about it…and you will” her mother says angrily as she continues to pull her resisting daughter off the bed…and pushes her towards the door leading into her bathroom. “You get in there and take a shower and I will be back in exactly 20 minutes to finish this discussion with you”

Knowing that putting up a fight would prove worthless…she takes her mothers insistence and makes her way into the coolness of the bathroom. Closing the door behind her…she heavily leans against it as she slides quickly to the floor below. Try as she might to stop them…she just can’t control the heaviness of her eyelids as they close…once again shutting out the world around her. “I don’t hear any water running…don’t make me come in there and bath you myself” her mothers screams echo throughout the tiny bathroom…jerking her from her impending snooze as she scurries across the tiled floor and with great exertion uses the shower curtain to pull herself upright.

“Fifteen minutes and counting” her mother bellows yet again as Liz turns on the shower and begins to remove the clothes she is wearing.

“Yeah…Yeah…Yeah” she groans to herself as she steps under the soothing pressure of the warm water. As quickly as possible in her hung over state she finishes her shower as once again she tries to come up with some solutions as to why Kyle treated her the way that he did this morning. She was still no clearer as to what had happened…but thinking about it only made her already pounding head pound even more. So putting her thoughts of Kyle and her absent memory temporarily on hold…she climbs clumsily out of the shower and wraps the robe hanging on a hook besides the shower around her damp body.

“Sit” he mother instructs her…pointing to the overstuffed chair in the corner of the room as she exits the bathroom. Handing her daughter two aspirin and a glass of water…she walks to the other side of the room and sits on the bed as she awaits her daughters response as to why she had fired her best friend Maria…and why it was that she had come home drunk some time early this morning. Silently the two women sit across from each other…each waiting for the impending argument that was sure to occur. Seconds turn into minutes as they continue their staring contest…neither willing to be the first to break the irritating silence…and so they sit…waiting.

The shrill ringing of the phone breaks the heavy coating of silence that was lingering throughout the room. “Kyle” Liz shouts hopefully…ignoring the pain as she runs for the phone. “Hell…hello…Kyle” she stammers into the mouthpiece hoping and praying that the voice she was about to hear on the other line was the one she was longing for. “Kyle…I’m…”
“Liz…sweety its dad” she hears her father reply…as she tries to hide the disappointment in her voice.

“Hi daddy”

“How's is my little Lizzie doing tonight”

“I’m fine daddy. How are you”

I’m just great…the convention is ending earlier then expected and that means that I get to come and be with my two favourite girls two days early. Isn’t that great”

“It’s great daddy”

“You ok Lizzie…you don’t seem like yourself”

“I’m ok daddy…just not feeling to well”

“Well you get some rest and be ready for a night out on the town with your old man when I get back tomorrow. Don’t think that I forgot that it was your birthday tomorrow”

“I will daddy…thanks”

“Let me speak to your mother. Oh…and Lizzie…I love you baby”

“I love you too daddy”

Handing the phone to her mother…she slinks back broken hearted to her chair…dreading the response her father will have once he finds out about firing Maria and her getting drunk. “That’s great Jeff…I can’t wait for you to get back home. Yes…she isn’t feeling well…but I don’t think that it is anything to be worried about. There is some sort of flu bug going around…she might just have that” she hears her mother lie to her father…deepening the guilt already present within her heart. “No…nothing much else going on at the moment. I love you too…see you soon. Bye” She watches as her mother makes her way back to the bed…sitting upon it arms crossed with a look of determination written clearly on her face. “Now…you want to tell me why I just lied to your father”

“I’m sorry mom” she cries as tears begin to mist her eyes. “I was so anger…so hurt and betrayed…and…and now Kyle. He…he…”

“What is it honey” he mother asks concerned as she quickly makes her way to her obviously hurting daughter and cradles her in her mothering arms. “You can tell me baby…you can tell me anything…you do know that right” she queries as she rocks Liz in a comforting motion trying like hell to ease some of her pain so plainly evident on her tear stained face. “What happened…is it Kyle. Did Kyle do something to you Liz”

“No…he would never hurt me” she whimpers truthfully as she clings to her mother desperately. “I am the one that hurt him…and I don’t even know what it is that I did. He won’t even talk to me mom. In these last months he has become like my best friend…but its more then that…and I just never realized until today how much I miss him when were not together”

“Do you love him” she hears her mother ask…stumping her for an answer. She doesn’t know what it is that she is feeling for Kyle anymore…but she knows that it is more then just simple friendship. That she in fact wants more then just simple friendship from him…but what she doesn’t know is…is what they have strong enough to get them through whatever it is the next level in their relationship could be.
Two hours had passed since they had begun their mother/daughter talk and her mother was now up to speed on everything that had been happening in Liz’s life for the last few months…including Liz walking in on Max and Maria and her muddled mass of emotions pertaining to Kyle.

“I don’t know mom” she answers honestly…as she begins to pace the room nervously. “I mean…what I feel for Kyle is more then friendship…but after Max I don’t know if I am ready to be in love again…and what if what I feel for him isn’t love…what if it is just a really special friendship…or something else all together. I just don’t know anymore…I am just so confused and with him not speaking to me…it makes it even worse”

“Honey…Kyle is not Max and you shouldn’t compare all your possible love prospects to what you had with Max. Truth be told Liz…I never cared for Max. I know that you two had this great love for each other…but I have always known that there was something different about him. Don’t worry I won’t make you tell me what the big secret is…but I do know that there is one to speak of” she continues as she holds her hand up to assure her daughter that whatever it was…their secret was safe with her. “But Kyle…he is different. He is a sweet young man…that cares for you a lot. I know that you are confused about what you feel for Kyle…but it is obvious as to what he feels for you. He loves you Liz…you can read it so plainly on his face…and I think that if you look deep enough into your heart…you will realize that you love him too. I am not trying to make any decisions for you…and god knows I am not promoting young love…but I think that you should give Kyle the benefit of the doubt. He will come around and when he does…listen to your heart…it always tells you the right thing to do. Now get some sleep…you have to pull a double shift tomorrow since you fired my only other waitress” “Mom…I can hire Maria back if you want” she replies as she hugs her mother tightly. She can’t remember the last time her and her mother had had a talk like this…but she vows that they will have them more often. In the past she had to lie to both her parents due to Max and his gigantic secret…but now that Max was out of her life things between her mother and father are going to get back to some semblance of normalcy and nothing and no one was gong to change that.

“Nah…I think that I will just have you cover her shifts and save your father and I having to pay another salary” she giggles as she places a kiss upon her daughter’s cheek.

“Funny” Liz giggles also…feeling so much better then she did before their talk. “Thanks mom…for listening and understanding about everything”

“That’s what mothers are for” she replies as she makes her way for the bedroom door. “As for the Maria situation…you make the call on that one. If you feel you can deal with her on a daily basis I will hire her back…but if you can’t I will hire someone else. Max is still no longer allowed here…not that I am concerned about that anymore after what he did and as for Kyle…like I said just listen to you heart. Love you honey. Get some rest…night”

“Love you too mom…night”

Nervously he paces the length of his bedroom…tightly clutching a brightly colored package within his sweaty hands. Indecision coats him as he continues to pace back and forth as his mind wanders aimlessly as to what he should do. Today was her birthday…eighteen years ago today she had been born and he had known her for at least seventeen of those years. Their mothers were once great friends who had delivered their babies around the same time…and had formed a bond because of it. Even after his mother had ran out on him Mrs. Parker had always continued with their scheduled play times…and they quickly became the best of friends. The best of friends until Middle school reared its ugly head…and then Kyle thought he was too cool to hang out with Liz Parker and then they were friends no more. High School changed all that for him as Liz had turned out to be a raving beauty…and then by the grace of Liz and her forgiveness…they began to date. At the time he knew that he cared for Liz…but he was young and stupid and really didn’t realize what he had until Max captured her heart…and then she was gone.

Now when ever he thinks of Liz…strange sensations course through his veins. Sensations that thrill him and frighten him to his very core. Their renewed friendship was once again on the possibility of being lost…and it was up to him to decide if it is worth losing it again…even if it means that they might move into the next level of their relationship…or was it worth the gamble to lose it all if she didn’t feel the same way that he felt about her. What they had now…or what they had before the events of that night was special to him…and as desperately as he is to move into the next phase of their relationship…he decides that he is not willing to risk losing it all. Despite the fact that they were no longer speaking…he realizes that she means more to him then he could ever describe to anyone…and losing it all was not an option anymore. Besides…it had been almost a week and she had made no attempt to speak to him…well except for that night of their argument…but that doesn’t count. He thinks to himself in an attempt to try and make himself feel better.

Tossing the small package on the bed…he turns off the light and walks swiftly out of the house…running into his father as he pulls into the driveway from another one of his gigs. “Where you off to” he asks his clearly agitated son. “Off to help Liz celebrate her eighteenth birthday…I hope”

“Um…yeah…that’s exactly where I’m going” he lies to his hopeful looking father. But in truth he doesn’t know where he is going…but he knows that he has leave…has to try and clear his messed up mind. Jumping into his car…he squeals out of the driveway and out into the great unknown as thought of Liz continue to plague his already troubled mind.

***************************************************

“SURPRISE” she hears a chorus of voices scream joyously before her...startling her from her thoughts of Kyle as she enters the darkened restaurant looking for a place to sulk before her parents planned on dragging her to a birthday dinner. In the last week he was constantly on her mind…and yet she was no closer to an answer then she was before. “Happy Birthday to you…Happy Birthday to you…Happy Birthday dear Liz…Happy Birthday to you” their birthday greetings continue…but she no longer hears them as she scans the faces she sees before her for the one that she longs for the most. Disappointed she allows the well wishers to congregate around her…as presents of all shapes and sizes are placed before her.

“Happy Birthday Baby” she hears her father yell happily over the roar of the crowd as he places a sloppy wet kiss upon her cheek. “Were you surprised…you mother and I have been working on this party for the last month. Our baby only turns eighteen once…and we wanted to make it special”

Unable to speak due to the lump that has lodged its self deep within her throat…she can only nod half-heartedly as she forces a mock smile upon her face. She continues to search through the crowd of all her family and friends…looking for the only one that will bring a full-fledged smile of happiness to her face. But in truth she already knows that she won’t find the person that she longs to see…she knows that what ever it was that she did that night must have been something completely awful and for this reason alone Kyle had not made one attempt to speak to her all week. Tears once again threaten her…as she hugs her mother and father tightly and with the excuse of mingling with her guests…exits out the side door of the back room…as she leans broken hearted against the brink wall…falling to the ground below.

“Happy Birthday Liz” she hears a voice call out to her.

“I knew that you would come” she cries happily…blinded by her tears as she jumps up off of the hard ground and flings herself into his waiting arms. “I knew that you wouldn’t let what happened the other night come between us”

“Of course not” he replies lovingly as he wraps his arms even tighter around the girl that he has loved for most of his adolescent life. “I just didn’t think that you would ever forgive me for what I did to you”

Revulsion fills her as she forces herself out of the lock that he has on her. “Max…” she growls…backing away from the man that just months ago was her whole universe and now she despises more then she ever thought it was possible to despise anyone. “Get the hell away from me”

“Liz…” Max questions as he takes a step forward…but thinks twice at the look of pure unadulterated hate that now covers her once beautiful face. “I don’t understand”

“You don’t understand” she repeats angrily as she fights the urge to scratch the mans eyes out. “That’s just your problem Max…you never understand” she spits as she attempts to walk past him and enter the party that is awaiting her return.

“Liz…wait…please” he begs…placing his hand gently upon her arm in an attempt to stop her. “What was that all about” he questions as he points to the spot where moments before she was jumping into his more then waiting arms. “Please Liz will you just talk to me. I’m so sorry about everything. Please…just talk to me”

“What that was…” she mocks as she points at the spot he is now standing in. “Was me thinking that you were someone else and as for talking to you Max. I’m sorry…but there isn’t anything more in this world that I want to do less then talk to you. I hate you Max Evan’s. You have screwed up my life for the last time. After today…I don’t want to ever speak to me…don’t acknowledge me at school…don’t try and call me…and most importantly you better adhere to all that I have told you…or the little secret of yours that I hold right here” she threatens as she points to her forehead. “Will not be a secret for very long”

“LIZ…WAIT” he cries out to her retreating figure…once again grabbing her by the arm and spinning her around until her is once again facing him. “If this about Maria and I…it was a mistake. I know that now…and I don’t have feelings for her like I have for you. I love you Liz…you forgave me once for making a horrible mistake…why can’t you forgive me for this one” he continues as tears fall from his hazel eyes…pleading for her to forgive him. Only to receive an indecent finger gesture and the slamming of the wooden door behind her…leaving him alone with his regrets and his tears.

An anger unlike she has ever felt before now inhabits her body. To say that she was pissed off was an understatement as she pushes her way past the well wishers and merry makers as she makes her way towards the front door…coming face to face with a extremely nervous Maria. “God this day just gets better and better” she states loudly…throwing her hands up in the air in frustration. Sending her once friend an evil look of hatred…she attempts to push her way passed a now sobbing Maria.

“Liz…” her sobs continue as she steps before an now even angrier Liz. “Can’t we just get passed what has happened. You are my best friend in the whole world and I miss you so badly”

Momentarily Liz considers talking to Maria…even considers forgiving her for choosing the side of Max when she needed her to be on her side for once…but the images of her @#%$ her Ex in a drunken screw fest causes her to quickly change her mind. “I just can’t deal with this right now” she screams as she brutally pushes Maria into a nearby booth as she once again attempts to exit the party being held in her honor.

“Um Lizzie…where you going” her mother questions her clearly upset daughter. “You have guests to greet young lady”

“Mom…I just have to leave. Please…I need to get out of here for a while and clear my head. Just cover for me…please I have to go” she states earnestly…as she hugs her mother…placing a quick kiss on her cheek as she runs out the door before anyone else can stop her. Her anger subsided for a brief few minutes has now returned in full force. She was tired of her life constantly being controlled by others. First her parents and then Max and now there was Kyle and his horrible treatment of her…due to something that she still is no closer to remembering. She was on a mission…there was only once person that she wanted to see and once she did…boy was he going to regret it once she did.

Sitting within the vastness of the quarry... Kyle tries to concentrate on the silence and the beauty that surrounds him…only to find that he cannot as images of Liz continuously invade his mind. Images of her beautiful smile…the way that her eyes sparkle when she is laughing…the way that her body felt against his as they snuggled together movie night after movie night…but most importantly the way that her lips…though briefly…felt against his own as he kissed her that terrible night when everything they had worked so hard for…crashed to the ground in an instant. He hated this…hated the way that everything was different now. He wanted things to go back to the way they were…and yet he knows that they never could. To much has changed and as much as he doesn’t want to admit it…his feeling for Liz have changed as well.

He loves her…he knows that he does and in truth he can now fully admit to himself that he never stopped. She had been the most important person in his life for just the briefest of moments and then she was gone and it was all due to Max @#%$ Evans and his alien persuasions. Yes…he had saved her life and for that he would always be grateful …but did he have to take the one girl that he knows he will love for the rest of his life away from him. Anger coats him…as he chucks the idea of trying to receive inner peace…jumping off of the hard ground as he grabs a handful of rocks and throws them as hard as he can out into the stilled waters of the quarry. “AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH” he scream echo loudly around him as tries to ease some of the madness that continues to surround him.

“Feel better now” he hears a voice speak sarcastically behind him…as he spins and finds himself face to face with the man that he hates more then he can ever explain.

“Get out of my face Evans” he spits nastily as he pushes his way past the highly pissed off alien hybrid king…only to have Max grab him by the sleeve ripping it in the process. “Fix it” he growls as he thrusts his arm into Max’s face.

“You think that she will ever love you the way that she loves me” he counters…pushing the arm that Kyle holds before her roughly out of his face. “Because she won’t”

“I said fix it” he repeats his earlier statement venomously as he ignores the words that have caused such a fire in him that he prays silently to Buddha to give him the strength to control his actions.

“She may choose you Valenti…but she will always love me. We are forever connected since that day in the Crash Down when I saved her. You can never take that away from me…NEVER” Max spits heatedly as he slams his hands forcefully into the shoulders of Kyle…sending him reeling backwards to the ground below.

“You keep living in your little dream world Evans” he yells back trying to once again control the rage that is consuming him. “You saved my life too…and trust me you and I will never be connected. You @#%$ this one up royally” his screams continue as he pulls himself from the pebbled pavement. “Pardon the pun”

“I may have saved you the day that you were shot…but lets not forget that I can end your life just as quickly”

“You want to end my life Max…go right on ahead” he screams madly…as he throws his entire body before a fully shocked Max. “Come on Max…you have wanted to hurt me for a long time now. So…here's your chance…but remember this…killing me won’t remove the image of you @#%$ her best friend…now will it” he taunts…ready to beat the @#%$ out of Max if he makes even the slightest move to use his alien powers. “I knew it…” he continues his taunting…as he takes in fully the true extent of Max’s cowardess. “You talk the big talk…but you sure as hell don’t walk the big walk”

“I…I could kill you if I wanted to” Max stammers…to the retreating figure of Kyle.

“If you were more of a man…then I would be worried and yet I am not…so what does that tell you” he shouts over his shoulder snidely as he leaves a stuttering Max in his wake. “Oh…one more thing oh great King of Antar…leave Liz alone” he threatens through gritted teeth as he turns back facing Max yet again. “You may have alien powers…but I have the powers of Love and let me just tell you this…love will prevail. She may not realize it now…but I will do everything in my power to prove to her that I love her…and nothing…and I mean nothing better get in my way”

With determination in his step…he leaves the wimpy childlike king in the dust and he flies out of the quarry with only one destination in sight…the Crash Down. He has no idea what it is that he is going to say once he gets there…no idea how he is going to prove to Liz that he loves her and yet he knows that no matter what she decides that he will be there for her always. No…he has no idea how he is going to make her see that he loves her…and yet a smile graces his lips as he thinks of all the fun ways that he can try and prove to her just how much he does.

With each knock on the unanswered door she finds herself closer to madness. The time has come…time to let Kyle and his not talking to her self know truly what Liz thought of him and his bullshit friendship. As much as she hated the idea of losing what they once had…she knows deeply within her heart that there is no going back to what they once had at this point in time. She had done or said something that had upset Kyle so much that he was willing to throw away all that they have worked so hard for…and since he wasn’t man enough to deal with her face to face…she would be the one that would deal with it. Increasing the intensity of her knocking…she jumps back startled as a grumbling Jim opens the door…but she quickly gains her bearings as she pushes her way passed the now stunned father and makes her way into Kyle’s bedroom…slamming the door behind her.

Outright rage consumes her as she enters the room to find it completely dark and empty. “Dammit” she growls to herself as she flings herself frustrated onto the bed…leaping back off as she lands on a brightly colored package. Tears threaten to spill as she fingers the tiny card with her name emblazoned on it. “To my best friend Liz…here’s to many more yogariffic days ahead. Love Kyle” she reads out loud as she forces her tears away…tearing through the pretty paper…a gasp filling the room upon revealing its gleaming contents. There buried beneath the fluffy cotton was the most beautiful charm bracelet that he has ever seen. Gently she picks up the silver chain…afraid that it may break into a thousand pieces just like the relationship between her and Kyle.

Tracing the outline of one of the charms she lays back against the wall as images that make no sense begin to hail over her. Images of Malamute with his hands all over her body as she danced like a stripper before him. Kyle furious…as he beat the @#%$ out of Malamute and then they were in the car and she was trying to seduce him. No wonder Kyle is not speaking to me…she thinks to herself as she wipes absentmindedly at the tears that are raining down her cheeks. But that wasn’t the worst of it…”

Frustrated he pulls into the driveway of his home…trying like hell to figure out where it is that Liz might be. He had driven straight to the Crash Down after his run in with Max only to have her mother tell him that she wasn’t there…and that she in fact had no idea where she could be. “Pop…I’m home” he calls down the hallway towards his fathers room as he makes his way towards his own bedroom…only to jump back grabbing his chest in surprise as his father pokes his head up from the couch where he is lying hidden. “Good Buddha…you scared the crap out of me”

“Just what the hell did you do to Liz tonight” Jim questions in a whisper as he jumps off the couch and silently leads his son away from the hallway and anyone that might be within ear shot.

“Do to Liz…nothing. I’ve been at the quarry all night trying to figure out this whole Liz situation. Why…”

“Well someone set that girl off…and it looks like you are going to get the brunt of it” his father chuckles…as he pats his son hardily on the back. “She came storming in here earlier this evening…didn’t even say a word to me…just stormed in and went into your room slamming it behind her. I would have kicked her out…but I was afraid that she was going to kick my ass”

“How long has she been here” Kyle questions nervously as he looks down the hallway at the closed door of his bedroom.

“Almost two hours” he replies truthfully…looking at the watch on his arm.

“Let me get this straight. She came storming into the house without so much as a word and has been in my room ever since…and you let her”

“Son…I may be old…but I am not stupid. When a woman is on a warpath…and trust me she is on the warpath…it is better to let her do what ever the hell she wants to do”

“I’m not going in there” he states honestly as he turns in an attempt to flee the raging Liz…only to have his father grab him by the collar of his shirt…pushing his down the hallway towards the door.

“NIGHT SON” his father shouts towards the still closed door in an attempt to thwart his son from escaping once again. “Be a man” he mouths to his visibly terrified son…as he retreats down the hall and into the safety of his bedroom.

“Right…be a man” he repeats softly to himself…feeling more like a toddler then a man. Taking a few deep cleansing breathes he opens the door…expecting to receive the wrath of Liz and instead he finds her climbing out the bedroom window…leaving him more confused then before. “Liz” he calls out to her retreating figure as she runs like the wind down the street. “Wait” he speaks a bit more softly…more defeated as he closes the window and wearily slides his even more confused body into bed…jerking the covers over his head in an attempt to shut out the world.

The clinking of metal against the wall forces him from his reclusion as he jumps out of the bed and begins his frantic search…for he already knows what it is exactly that has made the upsetting sound. Wrenching the bed away from the wall…he dives for the sparkling piece of jewelry that was supposed to symbolize what he feels for Liz and yet as he looks at it he realizes that it is all wrong…so wrong. Gently he lays the charm across his forefinger as he recalls the sales lady assuring him that any woman would love the friendship charm that now adorned the bracelet. Friendship…what a stupid word he thinks to himself as he continues to finger the tiny charm. What he was feeling for Liz was more then friendship. He loves her…and he knows that before anymore time can lapse he has to take the situation under into his own hands and make her see that he wanted more then @#%$ friendship from her…that he wanted everything that she has to offer. He wanted to feel her body as he held her in his arms…wanted to feel her lips as they devoured his own…he wanted to give himself to her fully…mind…body and soul.

Looking at the clock on the wall he jumps out of bed and sprints out the same window that she had left through just moments before. “I’m coming for you Liz…and you better be ready” he yells happily out into the darkened sky as he leaps into his car and roars off in the direction of his love...but not before he makes an unscheduled stop.

She knows now why Kyle won’t have anything to do with her…and who could blame him as everything had come crashing over her as she lay in wait for Kyle’s return earlier that evening. At first she was furious…so furious that she was about to end everything that had developed between the two of them since her breakup with Max and then she found the bracelet and everything changed. She no longer felt the mind numbing anger that inhabited her…only complete and utter regret and pain as the realization that it didn’t matter wither she ended their friendship and trust tonight or any other night…for she had already saw to that the night that she had gotten drunk and got caught in her web of deceptions. She wants to cry…but she finds that she can’t…too many tears have been shed over the lies that she has kept from him…and she feels as if she just has no more to give.

Staring out into the vastness of the dark silent night…and she longs to feel his arms around her as the true extent of her aloneness surrounds her. Finally the tears appear as if out of nowhere as she realizes her outright need for him. She misses him more then she can ever explain…she longs to feel the warmness of his body against her own as he holds her tightly in his arms…misses everything about him…his lopsided grin…the jokes that he tells all the time that make her laugh in spite of the fact that they aren’t even funny. Yes…she misses him and truth be told…she even misses the often painful…but always fun yoga lessons that he forced her to endure each and every morning. “I’m sorry Kyle” she whispers into the darkness…wrapping her arms around her chest in hopes of warding off the chill that now seems to have permeated her entire body.

Wiping the tears from her damp cheeks…she turns to enter her room intent on only one thing…ending this dreadful day and instead finds herself face to face with a determined looking Kyle. “Kyle…” she yelps in fright…her heart hammering wildly within her chest at the realization that he is now standing before her. He is so close that she can smell the scent of his after-shave…and yet so far as he stands before her unspeaking as his beautiful blue eyes bore deeply within her own. “Wh…what are you doing here” she stammers breaking the hold that his crystal blue eyes have on her…her heart breaking at the idea of what he might be here to tell her. She already has an idea as to what it is that he is about to say…knows that he is here to tell her exactly what a horrible person she is and that he no longer wants to have anything to do with her.

“This…” he replies…grabbing her by the shoulders and pulling her stunned body tightly against his own…attacking her lips with such velocity that she collapses to the floor from the shock of it all. “You ok” he chuckles after his onslaught as he kneels beside her…struggling to bring much need air into his burning lungs.

“I…I don’t understand” she stutters…searching his face looking for some sort of answer as to what just happened. “I…I thought that you hated me” she weeps openly still searching for an answer…and praying that she receives the one that her heart longs to hear.

“Hate you…nah” he kids lovingly as he brushes a stray piece of hair behind her ear. “I could never hate you Liz…you mean the world to me…I was just too stupid to realize that until I found this” he continues turning serious as he holds the gleaming silver bracelet before her. “I was wrong for not being here tonight to celebrate your birthday…and I can only assume that the reason you were in my room in the first place earlier was to let me know just that…am I right”

“I was angry…but I know now that I had no reason to be. I was horrible to you that night…and I lied to you about Max and I and…”

“I love you Liz” he interrupts…waiting impatiently for her reply for he knows that this is going to be the moment of truth. The words that she uttered next were going to give him the answers as to what it is that she truly feels for him. Moments turn into an eternity as she stares dumbfounded before him. He can literally feel the breath catch in his throat as he watches her lips in painstakingly slowness form into the words that cause emotions unlike he has ever felt before to crash wildly over him.

“I love you too”

His need to kiss her again consumes him…as he tenderly encompasses her beautiful face within the palms of his hands…urgently placing his needing lips upon hers.

Liz finds that she glad that she has collapsed to the floor…because his next mind numbing kiss is more then she could take…for she knows that there is no way that her legs will be able to hold her up as Kyle continues to kiss her with such intensity that she could barely breath…let alone try and hold herself upright. Lips explore as arms entangle the ones before them into loving embraces of want and need. Neither can explain the wondrous feelings that are raining over them as they continue their kiss of exploration. A kiss so familiar from days gone by and yet at the same time so different as they both are no longer the same person from those earlier times. Both have changed so much since those days that neither thought in a million years that they would once again find themselves this way again…in each other’s arms.

They are too wrapped up in this new exploration of each other…that neither has noticed that they are sprawled out upon the hard concrete of her balcony as the impromptu make out session intensifies…they can only hear the raspy breath of the other as they struggle for much needed air…can only hear the back of the throat moans of passion…causing each to only deepen the toe curling lip lock in hopes of utter intensification.

Liz finds that she is absolutely stupefied at the way that way her body is responding fully to Kyle and his tongue ministrations and prays to Buddha that he never stops. She once thought that Max was the only one that could evokes such feelings in her…but these feelings were different…these feelings were stronger and with each sweep of his glorious tongue her need for him becomes all consuming. All that matters is the two of them together…nothing else is as important as the feeling of their bodies as they thrash wildly against each other in an effort to ease their building need.

He can hear her moaning his name softly against his ear as he nips lovingly at the tender juncture of her neck causing such extreme emotions in him that he thinks that he might just explode for the sheer force of it all. Her hands run lightly over the broadness of his shoulders and neck and he finds that he wishes like hell that for once he had alien powers so he could with a flick of a finger make the binding clothing between the two of them disappear into nothingness.

“WHAT THE HELL IS GIONG ON HERE” the two hear a highly shocked male voice echo throughout the night…as they frantically rip their fully over heated bodies apart. “Elizabeth Noel Parker You have a lot of explaining to do young lady” Jeff Parker yells as he grabs Liz by the arm…jerking her begrudgingly away from her beloved Kyle. “Kyle…you go home. I don’t know what the hell is going on here…but you stay away from my daughter” his ravings continue as he pulls a struggling Liz behind him.

“DADDY…NO” Liz screams frantically…as she tries desperately to jerk herself out of the clutches of her father. “You can’t do this…”

“I can do what ever the hell I want…you are my daughter. First you ditch the birthday party that your mother and I worked so hard on…then tonight I over hear from one of the cooks that you fired Maria…and then before this you fight me tooth and nail to get back with Max Evan’s and now I find you having sex on the balcony with Kyle Valenti. I don’t’ know what they hell is going on with you…but you are going to boarding school and that is final. Now get yourself into your room and I will deal with you later”

“OMG…we were not having sex” Liz screams horrified that her father could say such things to her.

“Mr. Parker…Please” Kyle finally speaks up trying to get over the shock of having her father find them in the compromising positions that they were in. “I know that your confused…but…”

“I told you to go home…and I meant it”

“Jeff…” Nancy Parker calls out to her husband from the window of Liz’s room…after hearing the commotion of the balcony from her own bedroom. “Stop it…leave them alone and come back to bed”

“What…” he yells confused as he unintentionally releases Liz…watching as she runs into the waiting arms of Kyle. Confusion clouds him as he looks from the two fearful teens to his wife. “What the hell is going on here”

“Jeff…just come to bed and I will tell you everything” she replies as she reaches out her hand for her husband to take. “Come on…leave them alone” She watches how Liz and Kyle cling to each other…and she finds that she can’t stop a smile from appearing across her face. “Liz…sweety…don’t make it to long. You and Kyle can see each other tomorrow” she replies lovingly towards her daughter…as she aides her thoroughly dumbfounded husband through the window.

“I thought she wanted to be with Max” he replies as he gazes into the eyes of his wife who apparently knows more then he does.

“It’s a long story honey…come on and I will fill you in”

“Well that is not a good way to get on your fathers good side” Kyle grumbles as he holds Liz tightly in his embrace.

“Don’t worry…” she soothes as she kisses him tenderly on the lips. “My mother will talk to him…everything will be fine…I promise”

“I know…” is his reply as he eagerly returns the tender kiss…only to deepen it with the brushing of his tongue against hers.

“Kyle…you better go” Liz pants half-heartedly as she breaks the kiss that they were sharing. “I don’t want to push my luck with my father”

“I know…but I don’t want to leave” he whines as he tries to pull her into his arms again…only to have his advances thwarted by Liz.

“I don’t want you to leave either…but if you stay much longer and I get grounded…then you won’t be able to see me at all” she giggles…wrapping her arms around the neck of the man that has stolen her heart…yet again. “I love you” she purrs against the softness of his lips…before turning the tables on him and crushing them bruisingly under her own.

“I love you too” he wheezes trying to recover from the mind-numbing kiss…as he reluctantly releases her from his grasp and heads for the stairs leading him to the ally below. “Good Buddha…I almost forgot” he yells…running back to Liz holding the delicate bracelet out towards her. “Happy Birthday Liz”

Tears glisten in her eyes as she reaches out to take the bracelet from his hands…only to have him place the shimmering gift of his affection gently upon her wrist. “It’s absolutely beautiful…I…” stopping herself in mid sentence she once again allows the tears that were threatening before to fall…as she becomes aware of the additional charm that has been added. Slowly she lifts the added charm with her finger…as she looks from it to the man that has made her the happiest she has been in a long time. “Kyle…” she whispers…unable to take her eyes off the beauty before her. “It’s so beautiful”

“Not as beautiful as you” he replies honestly as he places an affectionate kiss quickly upon her lips. “When I bought this for you…we were just friends…but tonight after I saw you climbing out of my window and I realized what I knew all along…I knew that the one charm would mean nothing without adding one that showed the true extent of what I feel for you…what I have always felt for you”

“I love it…and I love you” she cries happily…as she pulls him against her body…once again kissing him with such passion that it takes his breath away.

“Liz…” they hear her mother voice behind them. “It’s time to come in…you can see Kyle tomorrow”

“I love you” Liz mouths as she reluctantly moves away from the warmth of his body. “And I’ll see you tomorrow…bright and early for Yoga”

“I love you” he mouths back…beaming from ear to ear as she crawls through the window of her bedroom and into the waiting arms of her mother. He watches as Liz excitedly shows her mother the gift he has given her. He can see the happiness for her daughter so clearly in her mothers eyes…even from the distance he is standing as she smiles over Liz’s shoulder…a smile that he knows is only directed at him. With a returning smile and a wink he climbs over the edge of the balcony…making his way to the pavement below as a whoop of jubilation expels from deep within him. He has won…won the heart of the girl that he loves more then he loves anything in the world…won the approval of her mother…but most importantly he had won her over Max Evans.

“Move already” Liz groans impatiently at the clock that is sitting on her nightstand…a clock that to her feels like the hands haven’t moved in years…instead of mere minutes. She feels as if she is dying…. dying to see him again…dying to have him smother her lips with his intoxicating kisses…dying to look upon his handsome face…but most of all dying just to be next to him once again. “Grrr” her frustrations increases as she throws herself backwards on the bed…covering her eyes with her arm…for maybe is she doesn’t look at the clock maybe it will move faster then the one minute that has passed since the last time she looked at it. It is only eighty thirty one in the morning and it is killing her to have to wait until nine o clock before she can see him again…but she also doesn’t want to seem to eager…although she was more then eager to be with him…in fact she was absolutely impatient with the need to be with him.

Exasperation over takes her as she allows the images that have been threatening to bombard her senses since the moment she woke this morning proceed. Images of all that transpired between them last night…their first kiss…sorta. Images of Kyle and that lop sided grin of his that causes her heart to skip a beat within her chest each time that he flashes one at her. She can still feel the heat emanating over his clothes and upon her hands as she ran them along the rugged contours of his neck and shoulders…can still feel the softness of his lips and the sheer electricity that bolted throughout her receptive body as they came into contact with her own lips time and time again…the way that his body melded perfectly against her own as he held her tightly in his loving arms…and so the images continue and with each one another ember is added to the fire that is growing deep within her neither regions.

Dangerously she allows her mind to continue to wander as for the moment the images subside as she allows her wildest dreams to come forth…as she wonders what possibilities may have arose if her father had not so rudely interrupted them as they continued their intense make out session. A small moan omits from her lips as she squeezes her legs together in an attempt to ease some of the pressure that is quickly growing into out right need for him…but instead of relief she is greeted instead with a flash of pleasure that sends her whole body into a frenzy. “Cool it Parker” she scolds herself as she seriously considers relieving some of the pent up frustration herself before she leaves…but quickly decides against it as she curiously glances at the clock…noticing that she was in fact now late for her Yoga class.

“Where the hell is she” Kyle states to himself as he paces the length of the living room for what seemed like the hundredth time. Unaware that he has an audience he glances at the clock located on the wall before him…and yet again makes another round about the furniture.

“I take it that things worked out well with you and Miss. Parker last night” Jim speaks…breaking the silence that fills the room as a stunned Kyle turns to face him. “I mean…you don’t seem to be to badly off considering the rage she was in when she got here”

“Pop…hey…” he stammers. “Yeah…were good now”

“Good as in your now a hot and heavy couple or good as in you are just friends”

“Um…couple” he whispers a blush coloring his face…not really wanting to discuss his reemerging relationship with Liz.

“What was that. I didn’t quite catch that “ Chuckles fill the room as he enjoys the ribbing of his son who is turning all shades of red and pink.

“I said we are a couple…ok” Kyle speaks a bit louder…slightly irritated with his father for messing with him like this. “Now get out of her…since you are enjoying this way to much”

“I can’t help it” he pans…ducking the blows that Kyle is affectingly trying to inflict to him. “I mean give me a break…it isn’t every day that your teenage son falls in love”

“Out…now” Kyle yells out in mock anger as he grabs his father in a wrestlers pose and attempts to push him out the front door.

“Ok…ok…I’ll stop” he pants as he tries to catch his breath after rough housing with his thoroughly embarrassed son. Turning serious for the moment before his exits the door that his son was so determined to get him through…he turns to Kyle placing his hands upon the mans shoulder. “Just promise me that you will be careful son. I am not some unrealistic parents who puts his head in the sand and pretends that he doesn’t know that his son is having sex…just promise me that you will use protection. It’s not for just for your protection…but for Liz’s as well. There's a stash in the bottom bathroom drawer and…”

“POP” Kyle shouts horrified. “You act as if I am going to jump her bones as soon as she walks into the house” Even though in truth it is something that he has been thinking about since he awoke this morning.

“I didn’t say that…but I know what it was like to be seventeen. I’m not stupid Kyle…I know that your hormones are racing around in there like crazy…and I know that it is normal for you to want to explore your sexuality…and believe it or not…I am fine with that…just be careful. That is all I am saying”

Kyle can tell that his father is no longer giving him a good old-fashioned ribbing…but in fact is extremely serious in the words that he has spoken. “I will pop…and thanks for trusting me enough to make my own decisions”

“Love you son”

“Love you too pop” he replies openly as he squeezes Kyle’s shoulder in a manly type statement before he makes his exit out the door.

Kyle watches as his father walks out the door…closing it softly behind him. Kyle finds that he is proud of his father’s willingness to be so open and understanding in the matters of sex…most fathers would ignore the fact that their sons were mere lust buckets and deal with the consequences later. In his heart however…Kyle knows that his father is not condoning it by any means…but he isn’t a fool either. Sex was something that was constantly on young men’s minds…and Kyle was no exception. He can’t even begin to count the countless times that he has imagined what it would be like to have sex with Liz...Maria…and even Isabel…but now the only one that inhibits his mind constantly is his one and only…his Liz. Just the thought of Liz’s naked body before him sends a rush of desire thorough him unlike anything he has ever felt before…and before he knows it “Spanky” as he has nick named his penis…begins to stir.

“Concentrate” he utters to himself as he sits before his Buddha shrine trying like hell to get the image of a naked Liz out of his mind. He knows that he has to control his savage urges when it comes to Liz…because he didn’t want to send her screaming into the streets as he tries to bonk her senseless with his uncontrollable need to have her…body as well as soul. Slowly the world around him evaporates as he forces his over heated body to focus on another plain of existence.

Her frustration begins to grow yet again as she pounds loudly upon the door that is separating her from her man. Her need to touch him is over powering as well as the constant ache between her legs that seems to be engulfing her each and every time that she moves. Finally unable to control her urges any longer…she opens the door with out invite and makes her way into the silent house. “Kyle…” she calls out softly as she continues on into the house. She can’t stop the smile from forming on her lips as she takes in Kyle sitting before Buddha in the lotus position oblivious to her presence. Silently she tiptoes before the man…and yet again she finds herself in awe of just how handsome he is. She could kick herself for not noticing it before…and for allowing herself to almost lose Kyle to Anne because of her stupidity. Looking from the handsome Kyle…she looks upon Buddha and sends a silent prayer of thanks for allowing her to see the light and allowing her to be with the man that she knows will always make her happy.

Looking back at the man before her…a wicked grins spreads across her face as all sorts of exciting thoughts enter her mind as to what exactly will happen if she was to have her way with him today…and she plans to have her way with him today. The prospect of making love to Kyle is almost more then she can bear as another bolt of lust inhabits her fully. Unable to handle being away from the warmth of his body as longer…she straddles his body…facing him as she sits herself heavily upon the lap of a stunned Kyle…wrapping her arms around his neck as she does. “Starting without me”

“Liz…” he moans as his previous erection springs to life…sending chills and thrills through both their sex starved bodies. Mere words cannot express the sensations that are coursing through him as he stares lovingly into her equally expressive eyes. Hungrily he assaults her tender lips…immediately insisting entrance as he pilfers her mouth with his more then experienced tongue. Not one to sit back and be dominated any longer Liz fights back for dominance of their soul searching lip lock…quickly gaining the lead as Kyle stunned for the moment pulls back…only to swiftly regain his lead of dominance as he continues to kiss her unlike she has never been kissed before.

“Whoa” she responds…sucking in air like her life depended on it…and she knows that if he continues to kiss her like that…it probably will.

“Yeah…”Kyle pants equally as he lays his forehead gently upon her heaving chest…as a battle wages deep within him. He never realized before this morning just how desperately he wants this woman that continues to sit heavily upon his lap…driving little “Spanky” to distractions. “Yoga…Now” he states sharply as he with the slightest of ease…due to the benefits of yoga lifts them both easily off the floor…placing her as far away from his super sensitive body as possible.

“You know I have another idea as to what we can do instead of Yoga” he whispers seductively as she slinks her body against his obviously responding one as the bulge in his pants seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. Liz doesn’t want to come off as to forward with Kyle…but she knows that if she has to wait much longer there is a good possibility that she might explode from the pressure that continues to build deep within her.

“Lets get this over with and then you can do what ever it is that you would like to do” he responds absentmindedly…trying like hell to remember their yoga routine as he once again pushes Liz away from his over heated body. “Lets begin with the Sun Salutation” Forcing his mind to focus on the task at hand…a small groan omits unintentionally from the deepest recesses of his throat as he watches her begin her postures.

“You know…I seem to have forgotten my postures” she states…trying like hell to hide the grin that wants to plasters itself across her face. The truth of that matter was that she knew the Sun Salutation like the back of her hand. It was what she and Kyle did religiously each morning for the last two months. “Could you show me again just how it goes” she coos with a slight pout on her face…still trying like hell not to smile.

Kyle knows her game and decides that he can no longer deny the response his body is having towards hers. It is obvious that she wants more then just yoga this morning and by golly Kyle is more then willing to give this woman before him everything and anything that she longs for…but first it was time to have some fun…and boy what fun it is going to be.

First pose…is the mountain pose. Begin by standing feet hips width apart” he replies easily…running his hand up the inside of her thighs assisting her with her movements. He doesn’t know if it is his over active imagination or not…but he can swear that he can smell the fragrance of her sex as he kneels before her…his hand never leaving the suppleness that are her thighs…and truth be told he knows if he stays in this position much longer the continuous scent alone will be his undoing. “Next is the hands up pose. Lift your arms over your head in the prayer position as you arch your back as far back as is comfortable for you” Standing from his kneeling position and her overpowering aroma of womanhood he makes his way behind the now heavily breathing Liz…as he gently places his right palm along the contours of her lower back…resting his left palm upon her totally exposed tummy…lightly pushing her backwards against his body as they position themselves into the pose. “Can you feel the stretch” he whispers seductively against her ear.

“I can feel it” she whispers…eyes closed as she relishes the heat that is searing through her body at the mere touch of his magnificent hands. “I can feel it” She doesn’t know how much longer she can stand the fire that is consuming her…but deep down she knows that she doesn’t want this pleasureful torture to ever end. “Head to knees is the next posture” she hears Kyle speak…breaking her from her torturous bliss. “Bend forward and place your hands beside your feet” Obediently she bends forward…shoving her butt into the air…purposely rubbing it along the front of his tight fitting biker shorts. A smile graces her face as almost silent curse words drift downwards filling her ears…causing her to lose her balance and almost tumble to the floor from the excitement of it all.

“Your not concentrating” Kyle groans as she quickly returns to the head to knees posture…once again rubbing her gorgeous ass against “Spanky” which causes his already tight work out shorts to become two sizes to small as “Spanky” jerks wildly within them.

“Kinda of hard to concentrate when you have a little Buddha poking you in the butt” she titters purposely pushing her ass backwards as she leans against his growing erection. “So tell me Kyle…is that a Buddha in your pocket…or are you just glad to see me” she purrs looking over her shoulder at the man staring lustfully down at her luscious ass. “As I recall the next posture is the downward dog” Boldly she stretches out her hands…until her rear end is flush with Kyle’s erection. Moans of yearning can be heard from the two as she continues to hold this pose…and they both know that there is no going back…that they are about to take their new and yet not so new relationship into the next phase.

“Next posture is the plank” Kyle groans as he reluctantly pulls away from her beautiful ass…laying down on his back on the floor before her. “As I recall you were having trouble holding this pose. So…I want you to go into the posture above me and hold it as long as you can”

A grin of delight beams across her face as she wordlessly places her hands over his shoulder…working her feet back between his legs until she is mere centimetres above his studly body. “Like this” she questions sexily…hovering her lips so close to his that she can feel his fevered breathes heavy across her own.

“Yeah…like…like that” he responds huskily as he attempts to capture her lips…only to have her thwart his advances as she shifts her body forward in an attempt to hold her pose.

“You know…You were saying something about concentrating…kinda hard to concentrate when you’re panting your hot breath all over me like that” she teases…fighting for air just as badly as he…as she fights to hold the pose above his quivering body.

“Well…I guess that we have to do something about that” he moans lustfully as he entangles his arms around the softness of her body…capturing her lips heatedly with his own as she collapses heavily upon his fully hardened body. Rolling her onto her back he quickly adjusts his fully wanting self along the contours of her stunning body…never breaking their soul searing lip lock. As if her tongue expertly exploring his mouth wasn’t enough…the heat radiating from her hands as she runs them up the small of her back…sends him and “Spanky” almost over the edge as he continues to cling to her. “Liz…” he murmurs against the smoothness of her lips as he breaks their loving kiss. “Are…are you sure”

She doesn’t speak a word…only nods her head in approval as she continues to explore the plains of his sculpted back and shoulders…pulling his tank top quickly over his head and discarding it over her
