Tess locks the bathroom door of her and Michael’s apartment and glances at it nervously before dialing the phone.

At the Crashdown, Max answers his cell phone. "Hello?"

"Max, it’s Tess."

"Tess?"

Liz, Maria, Isabel, and Alex look to Max when he says Tess’ name.

"Is Isabel with you?" asks Tess.

"Everything all right?" asks Max, noting the panic in Tess’ voice.

"Uh huh, I just need Isabel. Her cell phone’s off, is she there?"

"Yeah, hold on."

Isabel takes the phone from Max. "You all right?"

"You have to help me," says Tess. "Michael’s doing it again."

"I thought you hid it," laughs Isabel, confusing the others.

"I did, he got another copy. He wants me to help him count bodies. You have to save me. I can’t be held responsible if I’m forced to do this again."

There’s pounding on the bathroom door.

"Michael said for you to come out," says Kyle. "The first battle’s about to happen."

"Just a minute," yells Tess.

"Was that Kyle?" asks Isabel.

"I couldn’t reach you so I called him. The traitor decided to help Michael. Please Isabel, I’m begging you."

"I’ll be right there."

"What happened?" asks Alex when Isabel hangs up and hands the phone to Max.

Isabel laughs. "Nothin’ new or alien. You guys go to the movies without me, I have to rescue Tess."

"From what?" asks Max.

"Michael’s making her watch Braveheart again. See you later."
