On May 26, 2003 one of the brightest of shining lights in Roswell fanfiction passed away. Becky(rttavi) was known by many for her wonderful Roswell Stories. She was a truly gifted writer whose words touched the hearts of so many. For those that had the privilege to talk with her over email or message board it was obvious that she had unwavering passion for all things Roswell. It was also apparent that she had a quirky sense of humor and an overabundance of creative energy.
I was among the many who called her a friend. I first started talking with Becky almost two years ago while she was writing Story of Lines and from there our friendship grew. We finally got to meet each other in person for the Roswell Party in Philly last May. Within minutes of talking to each other in person it was obvious our friendship would be long-lasting. We met in person two more times after the May Roswell party; once in January at her home and then again a couple of weeks later in February at the Zeke Lerner Celebrity Bowl-a-thon. Since we met it has often been said that we were sisters separated at birth and that I was the other half of her brain.
I am so thankful that our mutual love of Roswell gave us the chance to meet and that she was able to become part of my life even if it was for entirely to short of time. She will always be remembered, missed and loved.
